Prayer is our direct line to God.  It is our connection and communicative link to God, almost like a person-to-person phone call.  It is vital for our relationship with God.  One cannot have a relationship without communication on this earth and it is the same with God in heaven.  We need to talk to Him, listen to Him, converse with Him.  He is the one who can see the fuller picture in our lives and we should therefore seek Him in prayer for guidance to lead us in this journey called life.
